Australian Regulator Obtains Travel Restriction Or

According to Foresight News, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) announced on February 28 that it has obtained a temporary travel restriction order against Liang 'Allan' Guo, former director of Blockchain Global, from the Australian Federal Court, dated February 20. The travel restriction order was applied for due to concerns that he may leave Australia during the ongoing investigation.

Previously, Blockchain Global operated the ACX Exchange, a cryptocurrency trading platform, from January 2016 to December 2019. A liquidator was appointed on February 11, 2022, to oversee the liquidation of the exchange. Liang 'Allan' Guo transferred approximately $1.69 million (AUD 2.6 million) from the bank account holding ACX Exchange investor funds for personal investments.
